Victorian Christmas at the Williamsport Scottish Rite
27th Annual Victorian Christmas · November 20–22, 2026
Stars, Stripes and Victorian Delights: Where Victorian Grandeur Meets American Tradition
The Williamsport Scottish Rite is proud to open its doors for Williamsport’s Victorian Christmas, a weekend tour of historic homes, churches and museums presented by the Committee of Preservation Williamsport.
Saturday, November 21 · Historic Building Tour · 9 AM – 4 PM
Shuttle Stop 5: Corner of Market & Fourth Street
Our complex is made up of three historic buildings: the 1901 Howard Memorial Cathedral/Theatre, the 1910 Acacia Club, and the 1967 building with its large main stage and expansive banquet room. The tour covers three floors of the Acacia and Howard buildings, where you can explore historic rooms filled with displays and memorabilia celebrating the fraternity’s 125-year history and its contributions to the arts, business and our community.
Don’t miss: Head up to the 3rd Floor Billiard Room, stand on the designated spot, and look out the Market Street window. You’ll be looking at what remains of the site of Williamsport’s First Presbyterian Church, built at Tom Alley and Market Street in 1841. The church burned twice before the congregation moved to its present home.
This tour runs longer than the usual house tours, so please allow extra time. An elevator is available, and public restrooms are open to tour guests.
A History of Carols · 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM & 1 PM
Repasz Brass and Repasz Wind present half-hour performances in the Howard Memorial Theatre. Free with your Victorian Christmas ticket.
